Well, this is my special story which will end with a low quality listen, but nevertheless a story..

I don't know where to begin.. ok, we were just two guys trying to make music..

We meet in a studio, he is ending his session and i was going for mine. We talked a bit and he stayed and i listened to what he was recording and he stayed to look what we were up to (in short) we became very close friends. After a week or so we started to write songs.

(Months later) we ran into an 'awesome' business guy who knew the way to get to comfort zone. Turns out he's a pathological lier and the whole project failed.. still, the music speaks for itself..

Here is one song that we did way back then. It's the demo that we would be working out in the studio..

I downloaded a while ago, Patric, but I never quite responded. I was listening to other songs today when it just popped up again on the playlist. It has a desktop feel productionwise to my ears indicative of the time. The basic song is simple in spots, but there are some really sweet chord changes that make the song very pretty like an early Beatles song. I find the verse vocal delivery/simple acoustic guitar to be the weakest part, a good idea but not inspiring as performed, but the chorus, intro, harmonica and strings are much closer to a final version.

I can imagine a cover that could really emote. Covers can skip the blandest aspects and accentuate the nice touches, and it would be a pretty cool song. It could transform from early to late Beatles, or beyond.

Hi guys, sorry to have stayed away for so long, thanks for the comments! I intent to be around more and try to pick up the pace..
You're absolutely right in everything you said Stebs, it's a home recording from the early midi days (bet you remember those days) working on a four tracker on a Commodore Amiga.. lot's of fun, alcohol and other substances. You're to nice Peeve, i have a bunch of this type home recordings from these days/songs if you like. Much luv guys!

I seem to be not good at this replying so late, but i had a difficult week, don't ask. Tomorrow my parents are married for 40 years and the whole thing is clouding the clouds i already had running and.. well, you get the picture. I don't know why Ji is out of the loop.. really. I do miss him, the same as i do missing making music for so long.. i should have had a wake up call by now, but Hotel Audiopolis seems to be right on target. Just get me out of Hotel California and create a myth beyond belief for the people living 200 years from now!!
