The Brokedowns.
Hardcore punk band from suburban Chicago. Why? Because they kick ass.

If these guys are kick ass, the tune you posted does not represent that imho, sorry Pop.

BUT, thanks for sharing!

I get it.
There were no good videos for that song, just a couple of live ones and this one was the best.
Still.. I think that it's pretty hot. If you are not into hardcore, than you just won't dig anything from these guys.
But if you do, you would do well to check out their albums.

Cool.
That song was from an album called New Brains For Everyone.
They have a newer one, though called Species Bender that is every bit as good. Maybe better.

steve who?

Postby cjdenecia » Fri Nov 16, 2012 12:09 am

I do find it hard to believe I have to post ison's song here like this but I did do a little research on what he's been up to lately - and I found he's relatively busy, even if not here.

but of all I listened to (newer stuff) - this one exceeds all. including, most likely, everything he's ever done. it's the most accessible and movingest song he's ever done. seems to be joint venture with his buddy steve harper. needs a little mix and production work but all in all and quite probably some lead guitar fills and short accentuating riffing, as well as some balls to the wall lead vocals in the outro but .... his best.

you can't handle the truth.

nor do you want to ...
